Steph-Approved Gift Guide

Updated: Dec 4, 2018

As we continue to jingle all the way into the Christmas season, every blogger/influencer I follow has been doing gift guides, which I love. So, I wanted to give you all something similar for a little Christmas present inspo. I'm going to do a top 20, of products that I, 10/10, recommend giving someone for Christmas. These are gifts that I have either given, received or used in the past and absolutely loved. Some of them may be a bit quirky for the average gift giver, but hey, Christmas is a time where you give people presents that they wouldn't normally buy for themselves, right? So, I present (badum-chh) to you, a Steph-approved gift guide.

I was given a giftcard to Erin Condren from my last internship and, truly, it's one of my favorite gifts I've ever been given. These planners are totally customizable. They have huge spaces to fill each day and you can add your name or photo to the front cover. Some removable accessories you can include are sticky notes, whiteboard to-do lists, fun stickers, meal trackers, etc. For someone who is an organization freak (like me) or someone who desperately needs organization, 10/10 recommend an Erin Condren.

I bought this for my bestie last Christmas as somewhat of a "silly" gift. It's a waffle-maker for one, which makes it easy to cook breakfast for yourself! She even used it to make a yummy dessert with ice cream by pouring brownie batter into the mold. Yummy, budget-friendly and fun!

Some of my friends are big wine drinkers. Rather than buying them a pretty wine glass, I got a few of them this little number so they can have their bubbly in the bath!

Super cute idea for the Instagram-loving, photo-taking friend! AND it's on sale right now at Target.

This is the perfect example of a gift someone would use, but never buy for themselves. For someone like me who pampers herself on the daily, a facial roller is right up their alley!

Okay, my dad desperately needs this gift. I was gifted a ped egg once and I couldn't find it for weeks. He stole it and was using it on his own dang feet. For your friends like Steve, get the foot kit. The model I have is the blue one pictured, but the link will take you to QVC's latest version.

Silk is great for hair. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase is supposed to prevent damage and breakage in your hair while you sleep. The linked set is a bit pricey, but here's a link to a budget-friendly silk pillowcase.

I know, this one seems really silly and dumb. Last year, my family did a white elephant gift exchange. We had a $20 limit and everyone came fully-equipped with some fun gag-gifts. This baby got traded left and right until it ended up in the loving hands of my brother. If you don't know Derek, he's a simple dude. He eats chicken and rice for every meal at college and, like most boys, he hates doing dishes. This baby is so slick, I doubt he has ever had to wash it. Perfect college-student gift-- call me crazy but don't knock it 'til you try it!

My leader at work has one of these machines and absolutely loves it. You can gift it with some kernels and seasonings in cute, festive Christmas containers or bags.

My mom and I were given one of these for Christmas many, many years ago. We lost the charger for it and never ended up buying a new one, and every day I have many ragrets (misspelled on purpose. If you know the joke, you know). There are a few cheaper versions of this product available at Ulta, but for someone with skin prone to breakouts, this baby is the perfect deep cleaning product!

Super funky, out-of-the-box gift for a cheese and wine lover! Also great for party hosts/hostesses.

Basin is my favorite place to buy bath bombs, salts and soaps (Sorry Lush. My heart belongs to Basin). They have a customizable gift box online where you can pick 3 bath bombs, a bath salt tube and a soap. It's a great gift for anyone who loves their tub time, or even for a coworker or friend you just don't know all that well.

I'm all about supporting small businesses and the cute, custom creations they provide. I love this Merry, Merry box from Beaucoup Boxes. The products are super nice and dainty, and the box is handcrafted for you each and every time. Your recipient will definitely appreciate the thought behind this gift!

Kendra Scott is home to gorgeous jewelry. I gave a Kendra Scott necklace to one of my besties for her birthday and she wears it all the time. And, it's long-lasting jewelry. It's not cheaply made and won't tarnish with wear!

I've always wanted a cute pair of animal slippers! The polar bear version is adorable and they can be paired with a cute set of Christmas jammies!

This was actually on my list this year. I spend so much time in bed on my laptop. All of the dust and particles that can get into your laptop from sitting on blankies all night is definitely not good for technology! Lap desks are perfect for people like me, or college students!

Who says you can't be productive while you pamper? Grab a glass of wine, a good book and your tub tray!

If your giftee (I think I made that word up) is a poor human like me, they probably don't pay for cable, but they may pay for Netflix? Hulu? Amazon Prime? If so, they need a Fire Stick. My roomie got one for Christmas and it's been a game-changer in our apartment.

So many people at work had the chance to take this test for free and they found it to be so exciting to learn their family's history! I wouldn't buy this kit for myself, but it would be super interesting kit to receive.

There are tons and tons of recipes that come across my Pinterest for Instant Pot. New couples, college students or, honest to God, lazy people would really appreciate an Instant Pot to cook their dinner so they don't have to!

And there you have it, folks! I hope my quirky gift guide gave you some holiday inspiration for anyone on your list! Let me know in the comments if you ending up taking my advice and buying any of these fun products!

Stay smilin' -- Steph
